POLICE CONDEMN MURDER OF MAN ACCUSED OF STEALING LIVESTOCK

CAPE TOWN – Eastern Cape police have condemned the murder of a man who was accused of stealing livestock.

The incident took place in the town of Bityi, near Mthatha on Friday.

The police’s Mzukisi Fatyela says no arrests have yet been made.

“There was a night vigil where the family was going to bury somebody. During the night, a man was found inside the crawl, stealing sheep. He was then apprehended and assaulted till he died.”
